Capgemini is hiring a Snowflake Developer to join its cloud data engineering division across its premier Indian centers. In this specialized data warehousing role, you will design, implement, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines and data architecture strategies within Snowflake. Moving beyond basic query writing, you will establish data governance, build robust data quality frameworks, and execute complex data migration strategies from legacy on-premise systems to cloud platforms. The role demands an engineer who can leverage Snowflake's newest architectural features, performance-tuning capabilities, and emerging AI tools to provide clean, accessible datasets for enterprise-scale business intelligence and analytics.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of professional, hands-on software development experience specializing in end-to-end Snowflake implementation, data modeling, and modern data architecture.
  • Strong, mandatory infrastructure knowledge of at least one major public cloud ecosystem (AWS or Azure) and a deep understanding of how Snowflake integrates natively with their object storage, security policies, and compute resources.
  • Proven expertise in Snowflake best practices, multi-cluster warehouse configurations, micro-partitioning mechanics, and complex query optimization to minimize computational costs and execution latency.
  • Solid engineering command of SQL and Python for advanced data transformations, data processing scripts, and automated ELT/ETL pipeline maintenance.
  • Demonstrated ability to help lead cross-functional technical teams, manage complex enterprise data migration projects, and construct scalable roadmap strategies.
  • Familiarity with the latest Snowflake features, including Snowpark, Streamlit integrations, or native AI/ML capabilities, to drive continuous technical innovation.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with a proven ability to translate complex database layouts and analytical architectures into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders.
